Why we chose Greensboro

Lindy Perry-Garnette Personal

My family and I chose Greensboro as our home seven years ago. Like many people, we were drawn to the open and green spaces of the City, the great road system, the friendliness of the people and the southern hospitality.

It was clear that Greensboro had some advantages over other “southern” cities. The diverse demographics, the welcoming attitude, the influence of a number of institutions of higher learning and significant Quaker, Jewish and Christian populations that seemed to respect and even embrace each other were very appealing.
